On the banks of the River Bhima is a village named Chalambe near Mangalvedha. Once Sri Swami Samarth went to the village and halted at the Ramadasi Muth there. The Muth was taken care of by a person named Ramdasi Baba. After taking meals, Swami went to sleep. The caretaker Ramadasi Baba had some work but Swami did not wake when it was time for Ramadasi Baba to leave. So Ramdasi locked the doors of the Muth from outside and left. He thought that Swami would rest inside the Muth for some more time.
Later when Ramadasi was out in the town during late evening, he heard people talking that they had seen Sri Swami Samarth on the banks of the river and playing in the sands there. People came and informed Ramadasi about it and were rushing back to the river banks to take Swami’s Darshan. Ramadasi too thought there was some great person or Mahatma come and so he too went to see. Surprisingly, he saw Swamiji and wondered who could have opened the door locks of the Muth.
Ramadasi was greatly astonished with this information, as after he locked the doors of the Muth, the keys were with him only. The amazed Ramadasi so he immediately went back to the Muth, to check out Swami’s presence there. He opened the door locks and found in disbelief that Sri Swamiji was not inside the Muth. Locks of the Muth door were intact. The only way to exit the Muth was the door, but Ramadasi had locked the doors himself.
Absolutely, this was a miracle indeed, experienced by Ramadasi Baba. Thunderstruck with this miracle, Ramadasi immediately ran to the banks of the river and fell at Sri Swami Samarth’s lotus feet. He prayed and begged Sri Swami Samarth for forgiveness and realized what a great saint Sri Swami Samarth was. This was one out of the many miraculous works of the great saint, Sri Swami Samarth.
