Gurinder Singh Dhillon now heads the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) which is a spiritual organization spread all over the world. He is called Baba Ji by his followers.

Profile

Gurinder Singh was born on August 1st 1954 into the Dhillon clan which had been giving spiritual heads to Radha Soami Satsang Beas. He did his schooling in Lawrence School in Sanawar. He took a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He went to Spain to work and in 1990 he was called back to India to head the organisation. Radha Soami Satsang Beas is an organization which mostly follows the tenets of Sikhism. The canonsare very simple like following a vegetarian diet, living with morals, daily meditation  and abstinence from alcohol , drugs. Rituals and ceremonies are not practised. There are no compulsory spiritual gatherings and the members have to be their own watchdogs. People from any religion can join Radha Soami Satsang Beas. True to the tenets of the organization Gurinder Singh is a true leader, leading the followers in their spiritual practises. He does not take any honorarium from the organization and his needs are looked after by the income he generates for himself. He is married and has two sons Gurpreet Singh Dhillon and Gurkirat Singh Dhillon.

Philosophy Propounded

Radha Soami Satsang Beas was established in 1891 and it had a great lineage of spiritual leaders and Gurinder Singh is the sixth and current leader in that list. To carry the philosophy over centuries and over generations of spiritual heads is not a mean job. But inRadha Soami Satsang Beas the canons have been upheld and Gurinder Singh is carrying the baton forward.

Work Done to Spread the Philosophy

Gurinder Singh lives in the Dera which is in Beas, Punjab but he travels to the centres in the world to give satsangs. His travel outside India happens from April to August. While he is in his Dera he gives satsangs on weekends.
