There was a leprosy patient in Mumbai and his name was Shree Krishnabhuwa also known as Thakurdasbaba. He went for a pilgrimage and at the end of the pilgrimage reached Ganagapur. He brought musk with him to offer to Sri Narasinha Saraswati. He had a vision in his dream asking him to go to Akkalkot and take a darshan of Shri Swami Samarth. He came to Akkalkot and in the confusion he forgot offer the musk at the feet of Swamiji. Swamiji, when he saw Shree Thakurdasbaba, asked him to bring the musk and Takurdasbaba was surprised.

Visionary Insight

Maloji Raje Bhosle was the king of Akkalkot then and he was a strong devotee of Sri Narasinha Saraswati. He often went Ganagpur to attend celebrations. Once he got a visionary insight in which Sri Narasinha Saraswati told him that he is already started living in Akkalkot and why did he have to come to Ganagapur to meet him. The king understood the meaning of the insight and started rendering his devotional service to Swamiji at Akkalkot. Swamiji was the incarnation of Sri Narasinha Saraswati and devotees considered him as God himself.

Appasaheb Subnis was from Pune and he was a rich man. Both he and his wife suffered from demoniac possession. They decided to go to Ganagapur to offer devotional service to Sri Narasinh Saraswati. They started from Pune to Ganagpur and on the way decided to pray to Swamiji in Akkalkot. Akkalkot was on the way and they met Swamiji and asked for permission to go to Ganagapur. Swamiji told them that they do not have to go to Ganagapur and that he will relieve both of them from the problem they are facing. Swamiji then relieve them of the demoniac possession and save them.

Worms in the Water

Swamiji, in his travel all over the country had visited Rameshwaram in Tamilnadu, South India. Here he saw the worshipper of the idols collecting money from the pilgrims for having a bath in the holy waters of Koti Koop Tirth. The worshipper did not allow Swamiji also to have a bath without paying money. Suddenly they could see worms writhing in the holy waters of Koti Koop Tirth. The worshipper was shocked and approached the Shringeri Mutt Shankaracharya. Shankaracharya went into a state of Samadhi and found out that Swamiji is not an ascetic and was Lord Dattatrey himself. The people hearing this surrendered to Swamiji and only after that the Tirth got purified.
