Krsna Balaram Swamiji also called as Mahant Sri Krsna Balaram Swamiji belonged to a family of eminent scholars and who were highly knowledgeable in the Yajurveda. His father enriched him with religious knowledge right from the time he was a child. Later on, Krsna Balaram Swamiji studied Vedic Scriptures at the Nimbarka Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya College and became an expert in Sanskrit. He received modern education later on at an English school. Due to this he was able to translate the Vedas into English. Krsna Balaram Swamiji has written a number of books in both Sanskrit and English.
In the year 1990 he founded the Bhagavat Dharma Samaj thus enlightening people more about the Bhagavat Dharma. A Gaudiya Vaishnava Temple called Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir is located in the sacred city of Vrindavan. In India and all across the globe, it is one of the main ISKON temples. Balarama and Krishna are the main deities at the central altar of the temple. In entire Vrindavan, highest standards in terms of deity worship and cleanliness is enforced at the temple. Guru Purnima, Radhastami and Janmashtami are the main events celebrated at the Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir in Vrindavan.
