Shri Swami Samarth stayed in Mangalvedha for quite a long time but during this time he maintained less association with the public. So the miracles performed here was less and same was the case in Mohol and Solapur where he stayed only for a short period. But in Akkalkot, Swamiji stayed for a longer period and performed many miracles and changed this little village into a land of miracles and a holy place of pilgrimage. Swamiji never performed miracles for the sake of performing miracles or for gaining publicity. He did it in the right time at the right place and for a cause.

Countless Miracles

There is no count on the miracles performed by Swamiji. There are many unknown miracles performed by this great sage and the miracles which has been told and written and heard are the ones which are shared with the devotees. Swamiji made it a point to help the needy and also got rid of sufferings of people who are affected. Swamiji was a kind soul and always gave a lift to poor people from poverty. Swamiji was share the knowledge with devotees who wanted spiritual knowledge and he had only one aim which is to free people suffering due to ill fate, provide happiness and guide them to the life’s highest objective of divine truth.

Swamiji has eliminated the sufferings of many people suffering from different kinds of ailments, some of them which had no cure. Shri Swami Samarth was a kind soul and was magnanimous in his own way to help the people who were suffering. There were diseases which were troublesome and incurable which Swamiji cured and with his grace people were able to get relief from the sufferings. There were rich and poor people who came to Swamiji for guidance and Swamiji made them understand that the sufferings has to be gone through whether rich or poor.

At Mangalvedha

Swamiji after leaving Kadalivan Swamiji spent long period involved in deep meditation. After waking up from the meditation Swamiji went on a pilgrimage and performed many miracles and in the year 1838 he appeared in Mangalvedha in Maharashtra. There he stayed for 12 years but was away from the public eye. He was staying in a desolated place and nobody knew about his whereabouts.   But when he came to the village in Mangalvedha, Swamiji used to stay in an agriculture land owned by a person called Patvardhan.
