Shree Swami Samarth used to shout at people who do not keep up their promise. Once there was a Brahmin who was suffering from severe stomach pain. He could not handle the pain and went to Narasinhwadi and vowed in front of the deity that he was cured of the stomach pain he would offer pedas worth one hundred and twenty five rupees. The Brahmin was relieved of his stomach pain but he conveniently forgot to fulfil his promise which he did in front of the deity. After ten years he went to Akkalkot for some other work and went to pay his bow to Swamiji. On seeing the Brahmin Swamiji angrily told him that he has forgotten the pedhas.
Truthful Devotees
There are some devotees who stood by the side of Swamiji to render service throughout his life. Balappa from Haveri in Karnataka was one among them. Balappa came to Ganagapur and started doing relentless devotional service to Swamiji during his stay in Ganagapur. One day he received a visionary insight and in the vision he was asked to go to Akkalkot for the darshan of Sriguru, Sri Narasinh Saraswati. Balappa went to Akkalkot as per the instructions and remained with Swamiji till the end rendering service to Swamiji.
There was another Brahmin who was also suffering from acute stomach pain. This person went to Narasinhawadi and thoroughly read the Guru Charitra. He received a visionary insight from Sriguru which told that Sriguru has taken an incarnation at Akkalkot as Swami Samarth and that Swamiji will cure the stomach ache. This person was not in a physical condition to travel so he rode a horse and went to Akkalkot. Before starting his journey he decided that he will offer pedhas worth one rupee and twenty five paisa to Swamiji if he reaches Akkalkot safe. Once he reached Akkalkot he went ot Cholappa’s house where Swamiji was sitting.
Incarnation
At the entrance of the house the horse got stuck and the horse could not move forward or backward. Swamiji was observing all this and asked the Brhamin whether he forgot the pedha worth one rupee twenty five paise. He immediately bough the pedha and horse was freed and Swamiji cured the Brahmin of his acute stomach ache. The person was happy and returned home completely cured. Sri Narasinh Saraswati advised his devotees togo to Akkalkot and Swamiji solved the problems and agonies of the devotees. It also clearly points out that Sri Narasinh Saraswati and Swamiji are one and are from the same body without any difference.
