In Sawantwadi in Sindhudurg District, Maharashtra there was a person called Appasaheb Bhosle. His wife developed injuries due to a disease and there were 8 to 10 holes on her leg. She tried different medicines and there was no relief. Bhosle and his wife came to Akkalkot along with 8 to 10 people and after reaching Akkalkot they came to know that Shri Swami Samarth had gone to Wakdari hill. It was summer and the sun was blazing down. It was midday and had not eaten anything but still they decided to go on top of the hill for Swamiji’s darshan.
Moods
Swamiji said that he has come this far to give darshan to them. Bhosle offered dhotis, bed and pillow, koupeen etc to Swamiji and sought his blessings. After that Bhosle told Swamiji about his wife’s disease on her leg. Swamiji was very angry and abused them. He asked the lady how many holes are there in the leg and told her that the problem is because of the evil deeds of the past life. Swamiji also told that she has tried many treatments and that she was fed up and wants to try this treatment.
There was a Kunda flower plant nearby where Swamiji was sitting. Swamiji touched the tree and told her to rub the fruit of that particular plant into a paste and eat it. Swamiji then asked to rub elephant tusk into a paste and apply it to the holes on the leg. Swamiji then gave the Prasad of mango and coconut to the couple and got up from where he was sitting and went to the cactus hill to sit. Swamiji asked Bhosle and his wife to go and have food. The next day Swamiji returned to Akkalkot from the hill. Bhosle and his wife after taking the blessings from Swamiji returned home and the injuries cured completely. The Bhosle couples later became regular visitors to Akkalkot to receive the blessings of the Master of Masters.
Death Call
Babasaheb Jadhav was a devotee of Swamiji and He knew the time of death of Babasaheb. Swamiji called Jadhav and told him that a message has come in his name. He meant that the death call has arrived and Jadhav understood the message and was frightened to face it. He held on Swmaiji’s feet and said that he wanted to serve Swamiji for more time. Swamiji felt sorry for Jadhav and said loudly to somebody to go to a bull which was standing nearby. Swamiji also pointed towards the bull and the bull fell dead and Jadhav could serve Swamiji for few more years.
