Shri Swami and his devotees were visiting the villages in and around Akkalkot. There was an ascetic who had undertaken religious rituals for a number of years to get the darshan of Lord Dattatrey in one of the villages. When Swamiji and the entourage were passing by he came for the darshan of Swamiji. Swamiji gave him the supreme darshan of Lord Dattatrey Himself in the form of three heads (trimukhi), six hands (shatbhuj), carrying three pointed spike or spear (trishul) and gourd (kamandalu). The ascetic prostrated on the lotus feet of Lord Dattatrey and said that he was ignorant to know the real identity of the Divine form. He was also happy to have the real darshan of the Divine form.
Spiritual Teacher
Vamanbua Brahmachari Badodekar was a serious student of Vedanta. He wanted to get deeply absorb into the contemplation of Brahma and also wanted to experience the knowledge specified in the Vedanta. He went to Ganagapur and got involved in a thorough reading of Gurucharitra. Lord Dattatrey appeared in his dream and showered the blessings on Vamanbua with the Darshan and said that he is personally present in Akkalkot itself and that he did not have to wander.
Yashwant Mahadeo Bhosekar was a Rigvedi Brahmin and another ascetic had given him visionary insight in his dream asking him to proceed to Mangalvedha in Mharashtra. In Mangalvedha he received the darshan of Swamiji and he told Swamiji that he was totally convinced that he was Lord Dattatrey himself. Swamiji initiated Bhosekar and the fame of Bhosekar as a divine person and spread in all directions. He was later popularly called as Dev Mamlatdar and his tomb is located in Nasik. With all these incidents it is clear that Swamiji was the incarnation of Lord Dattatrey. Lord Dattatrey, Sri Narasinha Saraswati and Sri Swami Samarth even though are considered separate are but one and the same. They are the three forms of manifestation of Lord Dattatrey himself.
Known and Unknown Miracles
In the four hundred years period Sri Narasinha Saraswati and later Swami Samarth performed many known and unknown miracles. Sri Narasinha Saraswati after coming out from the Kadali forest went to an isolated forest and sat there completely immersed in meditation. Later a woodcutter accidently fell on the anthill which had formed on the body of Sri Narasinha Saraswati. The meditative trance of Sriguru was disturbed and he stood up in the manifested form of Sri Swami Samarth.
