Shree Swami Samarth was a true Spiritual Guru who used to bless his devotees if they were true. He was omnipresent, omnipotent and showered love and affection without any boundaries to his true devotees. Swamiji was never hesitant in pointing out anything which was not true and not honest. Swamiji was also called Bhaktavatsala which means one who provide blessings in abundance. Swamiji was Antaryami which means a person who has the capacity to read the minds of people. Swamiji was able to know the past and future of everyone who visited him. Swamiji had a unique way of teaching and there was great similarity between Swamiji approach and Shirdi Sai Baba’s approach.
Same Divine Spirit
Swamiji and Shirdi Sai Baba are the incarnation of the same Divine Spirit but in two different physical bodies. Before Mahasamadhi, Swamiji had advised one of his disciples to worship Shirdi Saibaba and also told him that Swamiji would be staying in Shirdi in future. Another devotee who wanted to go to Akkalkot to worship the padukas of Swamiji was asked by Swamiji to go to Shirdi. Swamiji is said to have appeared in a dream and told the devotee to worship Him in Shirdi.
There are many devotees in the world today who still worship this great Swamiji and have miraculous experiences even today. Even though the physical presence of Swamiji is not there devotees are blessed because of the divine presence of Swamiji. Swamiji’s Samadhi is located at the residence of his disciple Shri Cholappa Maharaj and it was here where Swamiji stayed for the maximum time during his time. Even though Swamiji stayed in Akkalkot for a long time he is present everywhere and a genuine prayer is enough for Him to shower blessings on a person.
Bones to Gold
Once a Brahmin man troubled by extreme poverty stayed in Akkalkot and was regularly rendering devotional service to Swamiji. This man’s love and respect towards Swamiji was genuine. Once day Swamiji sat on a heap of bones in the locality of the Mahar community and Swamiji spoke to this needy Brahmin. Swamiji asked the person to take away as many bones as he wants. This person was not eager to take the bones as he was a Brahmin but still he took four pieces of bones with him. Next day he felt that the cloth bundle in which the bones were packed was heavy and when opened the bundle he was shocked. There were gold pieces instead of bones inside the bundle.
