There is a doctor who was a very strong devotee of Sri Swami Samarth and the doctor along with his family regularly attends the aarti and prayer every evening. The doctor was very much interested in spirituality and he regularly chants the Swamiji mantra and also used to read the Shree Swami Charita Saaraa Amrit. This doctor’s son had completed engineering in environment science in first grade from the Shivaji University. He wanted to go abroad for higher studies on this subject and also wanted to gain more knowledge from the universities abroad.

Scholarship

The expense for this came up to nearly 40 lakhs of rupee and it was beyond the reach of the doctors. The budget was way beyond his expectations and he could not afford it. The doctor had sent the application for scholarship of course by remembering the name of the great sage, Swami Samarth. Special seva was also given to the son. The son was also preparing for the selection process which is not at all easy. It was very tough thing to get the admission and students from all over the world competed for the few limited seats.

With the blessings of Swamiji and the regular seva the son got the scholarship for 30 lakhs given by the British Government. The boy received the confirmation through email and since he received admission from India he was also awarded a special reservation air ticket in British Airways. To everybody’s surprise the whole series of events were happening during Thursdays which is special day for Swamiji. The boy later joined for the course and completed his studies at Carnfield University in London. It was the sheer devotion and Swamiji’s power which got the admission for the doctor’s son in England.

Swami for All

Swamiji was not bothered about the caste or religion or creed of his devotees. People of all religion used to come and meet Swamiji to take His blessings. Swamiji never discriminated people and treated every equally, no matter whether he was king or a common man. Swamiji never had any problems visiting temples, mosques, dargahs or any other type religious centres. At Akkalkot, Swamiji used to sit under a Banyan tree on the outskirts of Akkalkot and gave darshan to his devotees. After making Akkalkot his abode, many dignitaries and famous personalities visited Akkalkot to meet Swamiji. Swamiji was accompanied by his main disciples called Cholappa and Balappa wherever he visited. Swamiji always used to utter some phrases which only who were close to Swamiji could understand.
